No matter how many times Chad photographed this culinary abomination, it looked inedible from every angle. Clearly a crime against taste buds.
Salsa on sushi = negligent culinary creation. Res ipsa loquitur: a Latin term meaning "the thing speaks for itself." Res ipsa loquitur is a legal doctrine or rule of evidence that creates a presumption that a defendant acted negligently simply because a harmful accident occurred. The presumption arises only if (1) the thing that caused the accident was under the defendant's control, (2) the accident could happen only as a result of a careless act and, (3) the plaintiff's behavior did not contribute to the accident. Lawyers often refer to this doctrine as "res ips" or "res ipsa."

I think you have let Almost Mexico get to your head! :)
I eat salsa on everything from salads to scrambled eggs....but I have never tried it on sushi!!
Happy New Year!
I agree that there is nothing appetizing about salsa and suchi...salsa on scrambled eggs I can do...just not sushi!
He REALLY likes it. I made some pretty hot salsa a few days ago, too. I guess it's along the same lines as eating that hot green stuff with sushi (wasabi??) I don't do sushi. Not even vegetarian. But I love Japanese food. Go figure.
Vince swears that there's nothing in the "not-sweet" category that cannot be enhanced by cayenne pepper. I challenge that... but he still insists. Maybe when they retire, Vince and Chad could open up a "nasty-super-hot-food" restaurant.
