YAY! He's home!!!

Visiting infusion nurse came and taught me how to administer the antibiotics to Chad's PICC line at 7:30 this morning. It isn't hard, but I was a bit nervous. Now, after 6 syringes, I feel like an old pro! :)

It will take about 40 minutes from start to finish, every morning, at the same time. I'll start the line before I drop Ingrid off at school, and then it'll be done by the time we get home.

The nurse was very kind and patient with me, even when I emptied an entire syringe of saline on the floor the first time I tried to prime one. Heh heh heh...

We continue to be so thankful for the kind help and prayers of all of our family, old friends and new friends!

Since he's up and around you must be doing it right! :) :) :)
Thanks for the bread related links! I made sourdough bread for the first time this morning. I didn't cook it long enough but it still tasted great and was very filling!
