What I know new:
Surgery scheduled for 3:00 today (Monday 3/7/11) to flush the wound
Looks like staph or MRSA - pathology will come back tomorrow
Pain management seems to be working better
PICC line will be inserted tomorrow for 6 weeks of antibiotic therapy; line will be inserted to the vein nearest his heart.

Praying for you guys! Connor had a picc line when he had pneumonia and it was really easy dealing with the home regime, at least in our experience. Never fun, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it might be. Give Chad a high five from the Rohrers and tell him to hang in there!
